Heather Piper

Heather Piper is a Certified Nurse Midwife with extensive experience in obstetrical and gynecological care. Currently employed at Greater Elgin Family Care Center since October 2020, Heather previously worked at Crusader Community Health and ASSOCIATES FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH, providing comprehensive care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well woman services. Heather has achieved significant milestones such as assisting in 150 vaginal deliveries in 2019 and performing first assist in cesarean sections. With a Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University, Heather has furthered education with additional certifications in cesarean assistance and limited OB ultrasound. Prior experience includes roles as a labor and delivery nurse and in quality control as a chemist, combined with a foundational education in chemistry.
