Emily Pickett

Emily Pickett currently serves as a High School Counselor at Valley View School District 365U since January 2023 and has been an Assistant Swim Coach at the Greater Joliet Area YMCA since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Administrative Assistant at Grace & Gratitude Counseling, a School Counseling Intern at Joliet Township High School District 204, and a Residence Life Coordinator at Lewis University, among others. Emily holds a Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Lewis University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. Additional earlier positions include work as a Behavioral Therapist, Lifeguard, and Swim Instructor at various organizations including Turning Pointe Autism Foundation and the Valley of the Sun YMCA.
