Diane Martin

Senior Vice President & Chief Pharmacy Services at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center

Diane is a native of the Merrimack Valley, born and raised in Lawrence. Graduating from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Diane worked at Children’s Hospital in Boston, was an Adjunct Faculty Advisor for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and was a Manager in retail pharmacy for over 14 years, prior to becoming the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations for Greater Lawrence Family Health Center.

As Vice President of Pharmacy Operations for the second largest community health center in Massachusetts, Diane has expanded the services of the Health Center’s pharmacy unit from a single pharmacy site in 2005, to a vibrant pharmacy department now encompassing five (5) pharmacy sites, a staff of over 80 and an expanding Clinical Pharmacy Services team. Her organization also started Pharmacy Residency Program in July 2014.

Diane has been the recipient of multiple awards, most recently the Bowl of Hygeia award from the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, HRSA Outstanding Executive Leader Award 2011, the HRSA Life Saving Patient Safety Award Executive Leader 2010, 2011, and Team Leader 2009, and the 2011 Technology Innovator of the Year award given by the Pharmacy Times and Parata Systems.

Over the past four years, Diane has volunteered with Partners in Development (PID), traveling to Haiti and Guatemala annually, committed to providing pharmaceutical services and clinician support to areas impacted by natural disasters.
