Aiman Farooq

Aiman Farooq is a finance professional currently serving as a Graduate Finance Trainee at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since October 2022. Previous experience includes a role as Junior Client Support at Hammond Raggett & Company Limited from June 2021 to September 2022 and a position as Student Ambassador at The Manchester Metropolitan University from March 2019 to December 2020, where responsibilities involved representing the area of study at open days and assisting with university events. Aiman's early career included an internship at PENINSULA BUSINESS SERVICES GROUP LIMITED in the technical team, as well as an eight-month internship in the Sustainability Department at Armstrong Fluid Technology, where efforts focused on ecological solutions and renewable resources. Aiman also gained insight into quantity surveying by shadowing professionals at Lang O’Rourke for two weeks. Aiman holds a Master's degree in Finance and Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 2019.
