Christopher Collar

Christopher Collar is an experienced Infrastructure Engineer currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (End User Compute) at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since October 2019, where responsibilities include managing a large estate of Windows and Linux servers, as well as handling security incidents. Previous roles include Service Operations Officer providing multi-tier support, and various positions at Transport for Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service where Christopher provided first and second line IT support, managed escalated tickets, and ensured compliance with fire safety regulations. Education was completed at Loreto Sixth Form College from 2012 to 2014.
