David Hodcroft

David Hodcroft possesses extensive experience in urban planning and infrastructure, currently serving as the Infrastructure Team Lead and Principal for Strategic Planning and Infrastructure at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since April 2017. Previously, David held the position of Senior Technical Advisor at the National Infrastructure Commission for a brief duration in 2022 and served as Assistant Planning Strategy Manager at the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities from 2010 to 2017, where responsibilities included enhancing strategic planning capacity and advocating for devolution. David's career began at Bolton Council as a Temporary Estates Assistant, followed by various planning roles at Bury Council. Academically, David holds a Master of Science in Environmental Planning from Liverpool John Moores University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University, with ongoing education at the Chartered Management Institute.
