Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Greater Manchester Combined Authority since December 2019. In addition to these roles, Steve has been the Deputy Chair and Non Executive Director at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Lead for Finance and Investment at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership from October 2016 to December 2019, Director of Financial Control at NHS England from August 2014 to October 2016, and Director of Finance at Wirral Community NHS Trust from May 2011 to July 2014. Earlier roles include Deputy Director of Finance at NHS Manchester Trust (Commissioning) and Finance Trainee in the NHS Financial Management Training Scheme. Steve Wilson holds a BA in Economic Studies from the University of Leeds, earned from 1992 to 1995.
