Daphine Barnes

Daphine B. currently serves as the Executive Director of Economic Mobility & STEM at Greater New Orleans, Inc., where involvement includes directing the GNO Region 1 Center for STEM. Additionally, Daphine holds the position of STEM Network Director for the same region and functions as a Science Education Consultant at STEM-C Consulting. Prior experience includes serving as a Site Mentor at Xavier University of Louisiana, where Daphine focused on recruiting and mentoring new educators, as well as coordinating science instruction for K-12 at Jefferson Parish Public School System and acting as Dean of Students at JCFA High School. Daphine holds two Master's degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana in Educational Leadership and Administration and in Secondary Education and Teaching with a focus on Biology and Chemistry.
