Stephen Lin

Stephen Lin has an extensive background in the insurance and actuarial fields, currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Greater New York Insurance Companies since August 2013. In this role, Stephen provides guidance to underwriters by assessing loss history and actuarial projections for pricing large accounts, while also supporting product development. Previous experience includes roles as a Product Analyst and Actuarial Assistant at the same company, and a Junior Underwriter where Stephen reviewed policy submissions. Prior to this, an actuarial internship at MetLife involved documenting programming codes and creating financial summaries, while a research analyst internship at River and Mercantile Solutions US focused on pension plan valuations. Stephen holds a Master of Science in Risk Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Studies and Applied Math from Queens College.
