Katherine Houng

Katherine Houng, CRNP, serves as an Enterprise Improvement Advisor at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since January 2020 and has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. since August 2014, focusing on primary care for the Chinese-speaking population in greater Philadelphia. Prior roles include a LEND Fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where Katherine developed autism workshops for the Asian-American community, and a Research Assistant, contributing to a quality improvement project on breastfeeding. Katherine has also worked with the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action as an Associate Program Officer and managed operations for the Cornell Annual Fund during their undergraduate studies. Educational qualifications include an MSN in Pediatric Primary Care and an Accelerated BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University.
