Sharon Chen

Sharon Chen is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc., where responsibilities include assessing and managing patients aged 3 to 90 in primary care settings, as well as conducting telephone triage for primary care and OB/GYN patients since August 2023. Previously, as a School Nurse at YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School, Sharon treated minor illnesses and injuries for adolescents, managed student immunization records, and participated in the Safety Committee. Sharon's experience also includes serving as a Registered Nurse Care Coordinator at The Institute for Family Health, focusing on high-risk patient management and education, and an administrative internship at Columbia Health's Sexual Violence Response unit. With a Master's Direct Entry in Nursing from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley, Sharon has developed a strong foundation in healthcare and community engagement through various roles, including research and outreach initiatives.
