Lauren Babich

Lauren Babich is an experienced public health professional with a diverse background in nutrition programs, health services research, and community health initiatives. Currently serving as the Child Nutrition Specialist and Manager of Child Nutrition Programs at Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank since June 2018, Lauren previously held various roles including Transformation Strategy Partner at Highmark Health and Program Advisor at Boston University's Department of Family Medicine - Global Health Collaborative. Lauren's extensive experience at the Lesotho-Boston Health Alliance involved overseeing project management, team supervision, and successful grant writing, achieving a 77% success rate for funding applications. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services Research and a Master of Public Health in International Health from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University, Lauren brings a strong academic foundation to a career dedicated to improving health outcomes.
