Monique Claiborne

Monique Claiborne is the current President and Chief Executive Officer at Greater Portland Inc where Monique leads and mentors a team focused on marketing the Portland region to global business leaders. Prior to this role, Monique worked as a Consultant at the City of Detroit from March 2016 to December 2020 where Monique improved accounts receivables and personal property tax collections by $150 million. Monique also served as the Legislative Chief Financial Officer, leading economic recovery efforts post-bankruptcy and providing financial oversight for legislative agencies. Monique holds a Master's Degree in International Public Policy from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
