David Grome began their work experience in 2003 as a Shift Manager at McDonald's. In 2006, they interned at both GLM and The Glover Park Group in sales and marketing and public relations and public affairs, respectively. From 2007 to 2013, they held various roles at Mower Agency, including Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, Account Supervisor, and Business Strategist. In 2013, they joined Butler/Till as an Account Director, where they provided strategic advice to Fortune 500 management teams and developed market modeling for go-to-market strategies. In 2020, they joined Greater Rochester Enterprise, first as Managing Director of Business Development and then as Senior Managing Director of Business Development.
David Grome attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Policy. In addition to their formal education, they also completed the Asian Pacific American Leadership Development Program (APALDP) from the United Way of Greater Rochester in 2014 and the Person2Person graduate program from the YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County in 2016.
