Superintendent Of Education at Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools

Kelley Cardinal serves as the Superintendent of Education for Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools since December 2016, with a focus on improving learning outcomes for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis students as a consultative support provider. Prior experiences include roles as a Principal, Vice Principal, and FNMIE Consultant at the same institution, along with work as a Cohort Coordinator and Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan from August 2016 to September 2020. Additionally, Kelley held substitute teaching positions in two school divisions and facilitated the Following Their Voices program aimed at increasing graduation rates among Indigenous students from August 2012 to June 2016. Kelley holds a Master’s Degree in Social and Ecological Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Education at the same institution.
