Elizabeth Brennan's work experience begins in 2005 when they served as an Editor for TASTE Magazine, a publication covering St. Louis food, art, and culture. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as the Channel Relations / Public Relations Manager at Hughes, where they managed public and media relations for various clients and secured media placements.
In 2009, Elizabeth joined Fontbonne University, initially working as a Senior Communications & Marketing Coordinator before becoming the Director of Communications and Marketing in 2013. In this role, they played a key role in rebranding the university and overhauling its website and customer relationship management system. Elizabeth also took responsibility as the managing editor and primary writer for "Fontbonne Magazine." Their tenure at Fontbonne University ended in June 2019.
More recently, Elizabeth has joined Greater St. Louis, Inc. in 2020 as the Director of Communications and Media Relations for their initiative, AllianceSTL. Elizabeth promotes the competitive advantages of the bi-state St. Louis metropolitan area to attract jobs and investments.
Elizabeth Brennan earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from McKendree University from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management from Fontbonne University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015.
