Anita Anderson

Anita Anderson is an experienced professional in strategy, planning, and marketing, currently serving as the Manager of Strategy and Planning at Greater Wellington Regional Council since May 2023. Prior to this role, Anita held multiple positions at the Department of Conservation (DOC) from April 2012 to June 2023, including Business Improvement Manager and Strategy Implementation Manager for the Te Mana o te Taiao - Aotearoa New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy. Anita's early career includes roles at various organizations such as WelTec, BCITO, Independence Australia, CPA Australia, and others, where marketing and communications were primary responsibilities. Educationally, Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Marketing from the University of Otago.
