Emma Hope

Emma Hope is a professional with extensive experience in strategic advisory roles, particularly in transport and health sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Advisor for Transport at Greater Wellington Regional Council since April 2022, Emma has previously worked as a Senior Advisor for the Breastscreen Programme at the New Zealand Ministry of Health and held a senior advisory position focused on Child and Youth Voice at the Office of the Children's Commissioner. Emma's background also includes serving as a Sustainable Transport Coordinator at Wellington City Council and a Health Promoter at Taranaki District Health Board. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Coordinator at Australian Red Cross. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from Curtin University.
