Laura Irwin

Laura Irwin is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as a Senior HR Advisor at Greater Wellington Regional Council since March 2022, Laura previously held various HR roles at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from February 2008 to March 2022, where responsibilities included advising and coordinating learning and development initiatives. Prior to that, Laura worked in HR and administrative capacities at REED and A.Scott and Son Ltd. Laura holds a Certificate of Personnel Practice from Belfast Institute of Further Education and completed studies at Inangahua College between 1996 and 2000.
