Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of CNET Networks Japan (now ASAHI INTERACTIVE, Inc.), prior to which, he worked at Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. Kotaro received a bachelor's degree in economics from Keio University in 1999.
