Theo began their career in 1994 as the Director of Internet Ministries at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, where they managed various digital initiatives. In 1999, they transitioned to the role of Director of IT, overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure. In 2009, they were promoted to the position of Chief Information Officer, where they focused on optimizing efficiency and delivering customized solutions using digital technologies. Throughout their tenure at the Archdiocese, Theo successfully implemented projects using agile and scrum methods.

In 2001, Theo took on the role of Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Liaison at the American Bible Society. In this role, they managed multiple projects, including web development programs, e-commerce solutions, and the creation of various Bible versions. Theo regularly interacted with executive staff and presented project updates to the Board of Trustees. Theo held this position until 2015.
