Peter Masias

Peter Masias has extensive experience in safety and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Safety & Risk Management at Green Bay Packaging since September 2005, where responsibilities include oversight of Safety & Health Programs, Worker's Compensation, and various insurance matters. Prior to this role, Peter was the Safety Manager for the City of Green Bay from January 1998 to August 2005, overseeing Occupational Safety and Health Programs and the Self-Insured Worker’s Compensation Program. Peter began a career as a Safety Officer III at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 1991 to December 1998, focusing on Safety & Health Programs and building code compliance for construction projects. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Illinois State University and another Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University.
