Matt Golden

Matt Golden is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy efficiency and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Conduct Energy since May 2024, Matt previously held the role of CEO at Recurve from September 2015 to May 2024, where foundational developments included the open-source OpenEEMeter and CalTRACK Methods. Matt's expertise also encompasses strategic advisory work with Green Business Certification, Inc. and leadership roles at the Institute for Building Technology and Safety, the Environmental Defense Fund, and Efficiency.org. Matt's journey began with entrepreneurial ventures, including founding TravelKey and Sustainable Spaces, and a consulting position at Ernst & Young. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University.
