Greg Lotakis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Greg started their career in 2003 as the Manager of Civil Projects at the Alaska Railroad Corporation, where they managed capital projects and supported the incident command group. In 2011, they co-founded Connect Development Group and served as a Co-Founder until 2014. During this time, they also worked as the Development Director at Asani Development Corp., overseeing development projects.
In 2015, Lotakis took on the role of Instructor - Sustainable Built Environment at Pinchot, where they taught and explored issues of sustainability in the built environment. Greg also worked as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at PHC Asani Inc. from 2015 to 2016.
In 2016, Lotakis joined Bainbridge Island Holdings as the Owner's Representative and Project Manager. Greg ensured successful project completion and represented the company's interests. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Project Manager at True Design Build Inc., where they managed projects.
Lotakis then joined Grow Community in 2012 as a Project Manager. In this role, they were involved in developing a sustainable neighborhood and overseeing solar-powered homes and community gardens. Greg stayed with Grow Community until 2018.
From 2019 to 2021, Lotakis held the role of Chief Operating Officer at NODE, a company focused on producing sustainable homes using technology. Greg later transitioned to the position of VP of Construction and then VP of Operations. Currently, Lotakis is the VP of Integration at Green Canopy NODE, where they continue to contribute their expertise.
Greg Lotakis earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which they attended from 1994 to 1998. Greg later pursued an MBA in Sustainable Business from Pinchot University from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: LEED Green Associates from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in May 2014, and Certified Erosion & Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) from ECO 3 in February 2012.
