Michael G. Flanagan

Mike is a Vice President responsible for arranging the financing for Green Courte’s fund investments and executing the company’s capital markets strategies. Mike has been with Green Courte since 2021.

Prior to joining Green Courte, Mike worked on the capital markets team at Ventas, a publicly traded REIT. At Ventas, Mike arranged over $1 billion of mortgage and construction financing across the firm’s assets in the U.S. and Canada and assisted with executing equity issuances, $4 billion of unsecured issuances, the launch of Ventas’s $1 billion commercial paper program and the recasting of the firm’s corporate credit facilities. Prior to Ventas, Mike worked as a real estate lender at Allstate and PGIM Real Estate Finance (Prudential) where he originated over $1 billion of mortgage debt across capital sources including life company financing, agency financing and CMBS financing. Earlier in his career Mike worked as an investment analyst for Church Pension Group and a CMBS Analyst for Moody’s and Morgan Stanley.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
