Marilyn Slavin has an extensive work experience in the field of data privacy, management, and information security. Marilyn started their career in 1987 as a Sales/Marketing Representative at Hewlett Packard. In 1991, they joined Microsoft as a Corporate Account Representative and was promoted to Business Development Manager, Field Marketing Specialist, and Marketing Manager. In 2007, they were appointed as the Managing Director of Microsoft Practice at Fujitsu Services. From 2008 to 2009, they served as the Senior Vice President at Fujitsu America and was responsible for managing the start up of the Microsoft practice. In 2011, they founded and became the CEO of Green Delete Inc., a globally recognized leader in data privacy, management, and information security.
Marilyn Slavin has an education history comprising of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of London in English Language and Literature, General & Economics, a BA from the University of Dayton in English and Economics, and a Certificate in International Business from the University of Washington. Marilyn has also obtained additional certifications such as Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making from LinkedIn in 2023, Data Strategy from LinkedIn in 2022, and MOF - Microsoft Operational Training, Macroscope - Consulting Training, MSF - Microsoft Solution Framework, and ICCC - University of Chicago based “game changers” entrepreneurial program.
