Bobby Chappell is a seasoned professional in sustainable tourism and environmental management, currently serving as a Strategy and Implementation Consultant at Tourism Impact Services since May 2017 and as a Senior Destination Advisor at Mountain IDEAL since November 2020. With extensive experience, Bobby has held pivotal roles at Green Destinations, including North American Representative and Chairman of the Committee for Standards Development, and at Sustainable Travel International, where Bobby contributed as Senior Technical Advisor and Senior Director of Standards and Monitoring. Bobby’s background also includes significant achievements in education and program development as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia and as Program Director at American Universities International Programs Limited, along with entrepreneurial experience in Costa Rica's tourism sector. Bobby Chappell holds a Master's degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Sustainable Community Development and a Bachelor's degree in Forest and Environmental Resources.
