Peter Henkes is a seasoned tourism professional with extensive experience in sustainability and management within the travel industry. Currently serving as the Business Owner of Takaroa Travel & Consultancy since April 2021, Peter implements sustainability criteria and coaches organizations towards eco-friendly practices. In addition, Peter holds roles as an Auditor for Control Union, an Independent Representative for Green Destinations, and a Certified Coach & Auditor for Travelife. Peter contributes to the tourism industry as a board member for Dutch Delta Cruise Port and previously for DMC Alliantie Nederland. Peter has a background in product and destination development from Amstour Holland and has provided consultancy services through Henkes Consultancy Ltd. Peter's education includes a BA in Business Economy, Geography, and Tourism from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
