Brian McGarrigle

Brian McGarrigle has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Brian began their career in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate Second Class, where they were responsible for training personnel and performing maintenance on nuclear propulsion plant equipment. After leaving the Navy, Brian worked as a Technical Writer at AMSEC LLC, preparing operational and maintenance manuals and coordinating layout and organization. Brian then transitioned to the role of IT Project Manager and Software Engineer IV at AMSEC LLC, where they managed personnel and subcontractors for various projects, including TDKM and NUMS. Brian also served as a Program Manager at AMSEC LLC, providing IT support to NAVSSES Philadelphia.

Following their time at AMSEC LLC, Brian joined McKean Defense Group as a Navy Data Consultant, providing IT support for NSWC Philly and contributing to the redevelopment of the Navy Virtual Shelf Website. Brian later became a Project Manager at McKean Defense Group, overseeing information assurance support and software applications at NAVSSES Philadelphia.

Brian then joined The GBS Group, where they held the positions of Senior Account Manager and Assistant Vice President of Federal Services. In these roles, they were responsible for proposal management, capture planning, negotiating teaming agreements, and evaluating capabilities. Brian also served as the operation and maintenance lead for remote monitoring systems supporting VIA Rail, Amtrak Acela, and MARC train systems.

Currently, Brian is employed at Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) as the Vice President of Technology Programs and Business Development. Brian previously held the role of Senior Vice President in the same company. In this position, Brian is responsible for leading technology programs and business development initiatives.

Brian McGarrigle attended Old Dominion University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the certification of Fully Qualified Navy Validator from the Navy Certification Authority in August 2016 and the MCITP-SA certification from Microsoft in June 2011.
