Green Flash Forensic Accounting (GFFA) was launched in 2021 to provide cost-effective forensic accounting and dispute advisory consulting services to law firms, companies, and individuals involved in complex and demanding situations. GFFA strives to provide high-quality financial consulting services by offering a hands-on approach from experienced project teams to address the challenging and complex financial issues that face the firm’s clients. 

John Tira created Green Flash Forensic Accounting after working for fifteen (15) years at Huron Consulting Group (an international consulting firm) and RSM (a Top 5 public accounting firm f/k/a McGladrey). John’s goal was to create a consulting firm that offered the experience and technical capabilities that his clients demanded, yet offered greater flexibility and independence than larger firms. 

While Green Flash Forensic Accounting fully embraces its independence and flexibility, the firm collaborates with a variety of technical and industry specialists on an as-needed basis to meet the demands of complex projects. These partners range from small boutique consulting firms to large international public accounting firms.

The firm’s services focus on forensic accounting and dispute advisory services which include:

- Conducting internal investigations of accounting abnormalities and financial anomalies

- Providing financial and accounting consulting in disputed matters where financial expertise is needed

- Consulting on merger and acquisition disputes related to working capital, earnouts, and financial representations and warranties

- Offering expert witness testimony in state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution settings

- Serving as a neutral accountant in contested matters where the underlying issues relate to technical financial and accounting matters
