Adriana Morales serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Green Gold Forestry Perú, overseeing the carbon and conservation project "Green Gold Loreto 1," focused on sustainable forest utilization for economic and environmental benefits. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Universidad del Pacífico for the USAID PREVENIR Project, analyzing institutional capacities regarding environmental crimes in the Peruvian Amazon. Adriana also interned at BTG Pactual, where responsibilities included creating business valuation models and client presentations. Additional research roles at Universidad del Pacífico and Dispurse Foundation contributed to evaluations and studies in forestry and education. Adriana holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.

At GGF, we are dedicated to the conservation and sustainable use of the resources of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and support the development of local populations in the areas of direct influence. Our work seeks the integral use of the forest, its protection and the use, conservation, recovery and restoration of its ecological functions. These activities involve active planning and engagement with indigenous communities to develop sustainable economic opportunities and resilience to climate change. Our overall mission is broken down into four axes: conservation of ecosystem services, sustainable use of natural resources, community development and inclusion, and research, development and innovation. 💼Conservation Project with USAID: With USAID support and funding, we are implementing the project: "Sustainable Management of Forest Concessions" in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. The objective of the project is to demonstrate that forestry companies can successfully develop and implement innovative multi-source forest management models that generate positive economic and environmental outcomes, while generating sustained benefits for forest communities and biodiversity. 🏆 Our certifications: - Verified Carbon Standard (VSC) Certification. - Certification in "Forest Management" and "Chain of Custody" by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ♻ We measure the impact of our activities against 9 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): No poverty (SDG 1), Zero hunger (SDG 2), Good health and well-being (SDG 3), Gender equality (SDG 5), Clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), Decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), Reducing inequalities (SDG 10), Climate action (SDG 13) and Life on land (SDG 15).
