René Skov Simonsen

René Skov Simonsen is an accomplished IT and digitalization leader with extensive experience in strategic project management and product lifecycle management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of IT & Digitalisation at Green Hydrogen Systems, René holds full budget responsibility for IT development and operations, overseeing applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Prior to this role, René contributed significantly to Arla Foods in several capacities, including Head of PLM Center of Excellence, where key achievements included establishing a PLM governance structure and enhancing product data management. Additional experience includes consultancy roles at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and co-founding PAYAMBA, along with a solid educational background in economics and management from Aarhus University and Business School Ikast.
