Leon Farrant has a diverse range of work experience across various industries and roles. Leon is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Green Li-ion, a technology company that focuses on re-manufacturing spent Lithium-Ion Batteries. Prior to this, Leon served as the Director on the Board of Directors at Agile HRO, a company that provides global payroll and human resources services. Leon also held the position of Group Managing Director at DARE Energy, a global energy company with offices and operations in multiple countries. Leon has been involved with various startups as a Non-Executive Director, providing support, investment, and advisory services. Before entering the technology industry, they worked at Brunel as a Business Manager in Asia and at Workforce International as a General Manager in Western Australia and South Australia. Leon started their career as a Branch Manager at Jobwire.

Leon Farrant's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Leon completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Marketing and PR in 2004. In 2008, Farrant pursued further education and obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Curtin University, which they completed in 2011.

In 2010, Farrant attended the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP) and received a certification in Occupational Health and Safety Representation - Offshore Oil & Gas. Additionally, they acquired several certifications outside of formal education. In May 2017, Farrant became a Member of Singapore Institute of Directors, and later in September 2017, they obtained the Bizsafe Level 3 certification from Bizsafe (PTY) Limited.

Farrant also engaged in executive education in 2017 at Singapore Management University, where they completed the Executive Diploma in Directorship. Lastly, prior to their university studies, Farrant attended Guildford Grammar School, although the specific duration and qualifications are unknown.
