Green Lightning Energy was founded by Jason Plant and Kadin Burns when both of their mothers received excessively expensive estimates from large name-brand solar providers. Their parents wanted the financial advantages and the positive environmental impact that solar energy held, but artificially high prices prevented them from accessing that value. Kadin and Jason believed that they could get their parents a better deal by offering the same high quality solutions, at reasonable prices. They were right, and now, Green Lightning Energy offers that same value to every homeowner it serves.

Ever since our founding, Green Lightning Energy has been on a mission to make clean energy affordable for everyday homeowners. Green Lightning offers free estimates, speedy and responsive service, and the most cutting-edge solar technologies in the industry. Despite using the same high quality systems as the largest solar brands, our residential prices consistently come in $5,000 to $20,000 lower. Our flagship program, the Solar Horizons Program, offers a significant discount to low socioeconomic status individuals and US veterans to level the playing field on access to solar energy.
