Wendy Brawer is an eco-designer and cultural creative with 25 years of experience in systems thinking, civic engagement, and communications. As the founder and director of the Green Map System, they have contributed to sustainability efforts in 65 countries and co-produced globally recognized mapping tools. Currently, Wendy serves on the board of the Trust for Governors Island and is a member of the Collective for Community, Culture, & Environment, LLC, focusing on sustainable design. They were a TED Resident and have received multiple awards for their innovative work in social design and sustainability. Wendy continues to engage in projects that tackle urgent climate challenges in New York City.
