Ygaël Nys

Yasser Gaber Ali Abdelhafez is an experienced academic researcher currently at the University of California, Davis since November 2021, following a role as a postdoctoral researcher at the same institution from June 2016 to October 2021. Yasser's career includes significant positions in Egypt, such as a lecturer and assistant lecturer at Assiut University, and a co-founder of Tebex Integrated Technologies, a medical imaging analysis startup. Yasser served as a consultant at ALFA Scan Radiology Center, the largest private diagnostic center in Cairo, and held roles as a senior registrar at King Hamad University Hospital and a specialist at ALFA Scan. Yasser's early career included a research position at Chang Gung Hospital in Taiwan and completion of a residency at Kasr AlAiny School of Medicine. Yasser holds a PhD in Medicine and a master's degree in Nuclear Medicine, alongside a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Assiut University.
