Andreas Herden

Andreas Herden is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the data center and networking industries. Currently serving as SVP Sales for Germany and Continental Europe at Green Mountain AS since September 2022, Andreas focuses on setting high standards for secure and sustainable data center solutions. Prior roles include Chief Sales Officer at Lefdal Mine Datacenter AS, where Andreas contributed to the development of one of Europe’s largest data centers, as well as several sales director positions at Equinix, where expertise in vertical markets and enterprise sectors was demonstrated. Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Andreas has held key leadership roles at major companies such as Avaya, Nortel, and Bay Networks, showing a strong track record in sales engineering and consulting across various regions and sectors. The professional journey began with an apprenticeship at Sparkasse-Finanzgruppe and includes a management position in the German Navy's data center operations.
