Candace Morgan

Candace Morgan serves as the Director of Corporate Affairs at Green Mountain Power since November 2020. Previously, Morgan worked as Principal Assistant at the State of Vermont's Agency of Human Services, advising on policy and legislative affairs from November 2017 to October 2020. Morgan's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Policy, Outreach, and Legislative Affairs at the Vermont Department of Taxes, overseeing staff and contributing to policy analysis and legislative priorities from January 2013 to November 2017. Additional roles include Web Design and Information Management Coordinator and Tax Education Specialist within the same department, as well as Field Organizer for the Vermont Democratic Party in 2012. Morgan began career development at the University of Vermont as a Resident Advisor while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Political Science, and Women's and Gender Studies from 2008 to 2011.
