Wendy Cashin has had an extensive career in finance and accounting, holding various positions such as VP of Finance at Green Our Planet, Corporate Financial Controller at NV5, and Financial Controller at Caesars Entertainment Corporation. With experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and accounting, Wendy has demonstrated their expertise in overseeing financial functions for large organizations. Additionally, Wendy has a background in zoning and recommendations for school districts from their time as a Zoning Commissioner at Clark County School District. Wendy graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

With a mission to conserve and improve the environment GoP brings the worlds of nature, technology and education together to create alchemy! We provide 'know how' and infrastructure to rockstar teachers who want their students to learn about about science, nutrition, technology, and nature through building and tending their own outdoor and indoor gardens at school! We know that when students in PreK-12th grade schools learn about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), they absorb and engage better by doing! Green Our Planet (GoP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit conservation organization that runs the largest and one of the most comprehensive school garden programs in the United States.
