Andy Kennedy

Andy Kennedy has a diverse work experience in the bioenergy industry. Andy started their career at Abengoa Bioenergy Corp in 2000, where they worked as a Material Handler before moving on to the role of Operator. In 2005, they joined Abengoa Bioenergy Biomass of Kansas as a Shift Supervisor and was later promoted to Assistant Operations Manager. During their time in this role, they coordinated operations activities during the commissioning and limited operation phases, producing cellulosic ethanol. Andy also operated and modified control parameters for a large boiler, significantly increasing its availability. In 2015, Andy joined Abengoa Bioenergy Corp as a Shift Supervisor before eventually transitioning to Green Plains Inc in 2016. At Green Plains Inc, they initially served as a Process Team Leader before being promoted to Operations Manager in 2019.
