Chris Albers

Chris Albers has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Chris is currently employed as the Director of Operations at Green Plains Inc. since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Interstates from August 2014 to June 2022, holding the position of Project Engineer / Project Manager. From November 2012 to July 2014, they served as a Staff Process Engineer at POET, and from September 2008 to November 2012, they were a Technical Manager at the same company. Before joining POET, they worked as a Plant Manager at DK Plastics from April 2007 to September 2008. Chris started their career at POET in January 2004 and held the role of Technical Manager until March 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer at GKN Sinter Metals from June 2000 to January 2004.

Chris Albers attended South Dakota Mines from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering.
