Matt Wellwood Msm

Matt Wellwood, MSM has a diverse range of work experience in human resources and training. Matt currently serves as an HR Business Partner at Green Plains Inc. Before that, they were the Human Resources Director at Completely KIDS, where they developed recruitment and retention plans with a focus on DEI, created a new evaluation process for staff, and led the Safety Committee. Prior to that, they worked at Gordmans as a Distribution Center HR Manager, overseeing various HR functions and working with the VP of Distribution and General Manager to enhance operations. Matt also served as a Training Specialist at Gordmans, where they developed and facilitated training programs and launched Harassment Prevention Training. Additionally, they worked at Nebraska Furniture Mart as a Training Specialist, where they trained new hires in the Distribution Center, and as an Employment Specialist, where they facilitated hiring efforts for the Texas location. Matt also gained customer service experience as a Customer Pick-Up Dock Specialist.

Matt Wellwood, MSM has a strong educational background with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management from Bellevue University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they studied from 2005 to 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Matt has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include being a Targeted Selection Interviewer, obtained from Development Dimensions International in August 2013. Matt also completed the Project Management for Learning Professionals course at ASTD Maryland in April 2013, and the TWI - Job Instruction Training at the TWI Institute in March 2013. Matt holds an ASTD Training Certificate, which they received from ASTD in May 2012. Lastly, they became a DDI Certified Facilitator through Development Dimensions International in March 2012.
