Douglas MacMillan

Douglas McMillan is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental science and management. Currently serving as Chairperson of Green Restoration Ireland and Project Manager of Farm Carbon EIP, Douglas also holds a position as an Environmental Lecturer specializing in Food Science and Environmental Health at Technological University Dublin. As the Senior QEHS, Laboratory & Ecology Consultant & Trainer at BioLogiQ Solutions, Douglas established a consultancy that provides auditing, training, and consultancy services in quality, environmental, health, and safety. Previous roles include Senior Environment, Health and Safety Consultant at Antaris Consulting, where Douglas developed IEMA-approved courses and provided consultancy across various industries, and Environmental Scientist at Lisheen Mine, where significant contributions led to its ISO 14001 certification. Douglas holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, a Master’s degree in Environmental Resource Management from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Durham University.
