Burl Battersby

Burl Battersby, MBA, currently serves as Executive Producer at The Wild Rose Project and Kent Campus Director at Green River College, where involvement includes the Behavior Intervention Team and equity initiatives related to the college’s Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Center. Burl also holds the position of Executive Editor at Voices of Tacoma: A Gathering of Poets and is the Founder of Be! Eugene Be! Creative. As Principal of Battersby Consulting, Burl utilizes extensive experience from previous roles, including Director of Operations - Rooms at Marriott International, where oversight included a large hotel’s operational teams, and various positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, focusing on Six Sigma process improvements and banquet operations. Additionally, Burl has experience as an Adjunct Professor at multiple colleges, teaching Hospitality Management courses, and holds degrees in Business Administration and Humanities from Washington State University, as well as other educational credentials.
