Merhawi Haile

Merhawi Haile is a Software Developer at Liberty Mutual Insurance since June 2023 and a Software Engineer at Hack.Diversity since December 2022. Selected for the 2023 Hack.Diversity Fellowship, Merhawi participates in a program aimed at career leadership and workforce development, collaborating with fellow software engineers on project initiatives. Proficient in managing backend and frontend web development using MEN and Visual Studio Code, Merhawi developed an application that allows doctors to submit structured radiology reports based on assessments of COVID-19 x-ray images. Merhawi holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completed in May 2023, and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Bunker Hill Community College.
