Niket Vasavada has over 8 years of professional experience in the energy and engineering industry. In 2013, they began their career as an Engineering Intern at Suzlon Energy Limited, where they learned the assembly process of Nacelle of S-52 (600 kW) and S-66 (1.25 MW) WTGs. In 2015, they took on a Project Engineering Intern role at Meril Life Sciences India Pvt Ltd, where they were responsible for performing computer-aided machining on CNC machines for manufacturing orthopedic parts and in-house fixture development. In 2018, they became a Student Lead at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they were responsible for directing and coordinating work of student employees and managing student schedules and on-the-job training for new student employees. In 2019, they took on a Project Coordinator & Shift Lead role at the University of Colorado Boulder Solar Decathlon, where they were a part of the Construction Management team responsible for project scheduling activities like Site management and permitting. In 2020, they worked as a Supply Chain Analyst at Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. In 2021, they took on an Assistant Project Manager role at Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC, where they delivered 19 Community Solar projects of 33MW total capacity and valued at $33MM. Theirresponsibilities included conducting regular site visits and coordinating with developers, EPCs, utilities, land owners, independent engineers, and other external stakeholders. Currently, they are a Project Coordinator at Green Street Power Partners.

Niket Vasavada has a comprehensive educational background. Niket obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Mechanical Engineering from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) between 2010 and 2014. Niket then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2017 and 2019. Currently, Niket is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Business from the University of the Cumberlands, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
