Allison Bishop is a visiting assistant professor at The City University of New York, with previous experience as President at Proof Trading and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University in the City of New York. Allison has also worked as a Quantitative Researcher at IEX, the Investors Exchange, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research New England. Their research interests include cryptography, complexity theory, distributed algorithms, harmonic analysis, and combinatorics. Allison holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics from The University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Princeton University.
