Sydney Hyde

Sydney Hyde has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at Western Michigan University, where they contributed to research projects until March 2021. In 2022, Sydney joined Net Impact as a Project Analyst, later advancing to the position of VP of Social Impact. At Net Impact, they also served as the VP of Professional Development starting in April 2023. Additionally, Sydney held leadership positions at Green Wolverine, including VP and Head of Membership. They began working at the Erb Institute in 2023 as a Research Analyst specializing in Corporate Political Responsibility. Sydney also gained experience in the hospitality industry as a Server at The Dock at Bayview during the summer of 2022.

Sydney Hyde began their education at Portage Central High School and the Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center (KAMSC) from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Impact, and Marketing. Sydney is expected to complete their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in 2025. During their time at the university, in 2022, they had the opportunity to study abroad at DIS, where they specialized in Sustainability Studies. Additionally, Sydney obtained a certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in February 2022.
