Akshay Gunteti

Akshay Gunteti is a co-founder of Green Worms, a social innovation and circular startup in India, working to address waste crises and poverty by creating dignified jobs and promoting a circular economy since January 2020. Previous roles at Green Worms include Director of Partnerships, where efforts focused on accelerating the circular economy transition through ethical sourcing and materials recycling, and Director of Sales and Marketing, aimed at eliminating plastic pollution. Akshay also contributed to AccelerateSD as Director, managing operations and fundraising for environmental education initiatives, and previously founded Startupp to support job creation and innovation in the startup ecosystem. Akshay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from BIT Institute of Technology and recently completed a General Management Program at Stoa.
