Jabir Karat

Jabir Karat is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social entrepreneurship and education. As a Co-Founder of Green Worms since August 2014, Jabir has contributed to sustainable practices. Additionally, Jabir serves as a Fellow at Acumen, starting in February 2020, and has facilitated programs at Jagriti Yatra in December 2018. The consultancy role at Vadi Husna Public School lasted from June to December 2015, following a position as a Waste Collector at the Solid and Liquid Resource Management Centre in mid-2014. Prior to these roles, Jabir worked as a Program Monitor with Kaivalya Education Foundation for two years and co-founded Malabar Tourist Service from January 2008 to January 2012, where travel expertise was honed. Academically, Jabir holds a Post Graduate degree in History from Delhi University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Zakir Hussain Delhi College. Higher Secondary education was completed at GHSS Puduppady, specializing in Humanities.
